Ages 12+

From Monday, June 9th - Monday June 16th, join comic artist John Yurcaba (Transformers: Beast Wars, Godzilla, TMNT for IDW, Ghostbusters for Dark Horse) for a crash course in the basics of comic book storytelling! Participants will use learned skills and provided tools to create a 4-page short story, which will then be collected into a commemorative graphic novel, and their work will be display and celebrated at a gallery showing/signing event at Strange Adventures Comics & Collectibles (2000 E Rio Salado Pkwy Ste #1234 Tempe, AZ 85288), where the camp will take place!

Sessions last everyday of the camp from 5-7pm, with optional additional mentoring/guidance hours from 7-9pm. Curated art supply kits provided by Jerry's Artarama. Sign up by Memorial Day (5/26) to get the early bird price of $275. After that, it's $300 until the sign-up deadline of June 7th!
